The Tuesday Young Women’s Group takes on a new twist in 2009. We’ll start with casual social time at 9:30 in the living room. At 10:00, we’re inviting moms of Chautauqua teens to meet on the porch for planning activities and volunteer opportunities for their children. Those without teenagers will continue to enjoy social time in the living room. Last summer, a group of moms outside CWC organized evening activities called “SACtivities” for teens in an effort to engage
Chautauqua’s young people in fun, safe events, including a game night at the CWC clubhouse. Since many of our members are moms of teens, or will be soon, bringing more Chautauqua moms to the clubhouse will be a great way to unify the parents and provide support for Chautauqua’s often overlooked teens. CWC is excited to host more game nights and a classical music recital for our teens this summer at the clubhouse. All young Chautauqua women are invited to gather on Tuesday mornings, evening dinner events, and the Strawberry Festival where we’ll be spooning up another year of yummy shortcake! |
