The CWC Flea Market is held behind the Colonnade Building (Ames Avenue). Come Recycle With Us! Every year the members of the Chautauqua Women's Club work like busy beavers with the annual Flea Market and Flea Boutique. These efforts are to raise money for the Scholarship fund as well as funds that are vital to meeting the expenses of the club house. Above all, Chautauquans are able to clean out their closets and donate to a worthwhile endeavor. At the same time, those purchasing the "fleas" are able to furnish their Chautauquan homes or apartments with unique finds at a very affordable price!Since we have minimal capital layout for the sale, our profit increases as your merchandise donations increase. Finally, even through the flea market seems an apparent contradiction of our sophisticated Chautauqua image, be prepared to buy bargains and share laughs as our annual CWC Flea Market results in needed funds for student scholarships and clubhouse maintenance. |
